FALL UNIFORM

With each season, I tend to stick to a "uniform" on the weekends, and end up wearing some variation of the same look. When that perfect Fall weather hits NYC, I look forward to Sundays when I throw on said uniform and walk around the city for hours with my boyfriend. I just saw these Steven boots while browsing the Vince Lookbook on Shop Bop and immediately knew they would be a part of this Fall's weekend uniform. Inspired by Vince's comfy and worn-in yet still stylish and sleek looking basics, these boots would be the perfect edgy touch to basic leggings, tank and sweater -- my idea of the perfect Sunday outfit. However, come evening, boyfriend and I are ready to enjoy the last hours of the weekend with dinner out at a neighborhood restaurant. I love the idea of shifting one side of this sweater to create a slouchy, one-shoulder look and switching out the Steven boots and cozy scarf for a pair of black booties and layered necklace. The always perfect, multi-purpose bag, Foley + Corinna's Mid-City tote can be worn as a shoulder or cross-body bag during the day and folded into a clutch for a dinner date.

  1. what a great post - i tend to be quite similar in that I have a template and I just fill in the gaps, it makes dressing seem a little simpler x
